Wholesome Organic Raw Blue Agave is a 100% pure natural low glycemic sweetener harvested from the core of the Blue Agave plant. Organic Raw Blue Agave is ideal for sweetening beverages like coffee and lemonade, or for topping oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, cereal and more. It is also great in smoothies, iced tea, or cocktails as it dissolves quickly in cold beverages. Agave is easy to bake with as well. Try it wherever you would use sugar. Blue Agave has a Low Glycemic Index (GI), so it is slowly absorbed into the body, preventing spikes in blood sugar. It is 1-1/4 times sweeter than sugar, so you can use less to achieve your perfect level of sweetness. Wholesome Organic Blue Agave is now available in recyclable Green Bottles made from up to 30% plant-based resin. These bottles are BPA free and recyclable PET.
